Questions people ask
Do I have to build the form myself?
No - and that is the point. Every service we support already has a complete form behind it. You tick what you offer, and the finished form is in your account before you reach the dashboard. Building your own is possible, but it is never the starting point.
What if the template does not say quite what I want?
Change it. Edit any word, add a question, delete one you do not need. It takes minutes, and nothing is required before you start using the form.
Do clients need to download anything?
No. They scan your code, fill the form in their browser and sign with a finger. No app, no account, no password.
Is a finger signature valid?
Yes, for business records like these. Each signature is stored with date, time, timezone, IP, device and a fingerprint of the exact answers signed - all printed on the PDF.
What about clients under 18?
Below the age you set, the form asks for a parent or guardian, their relationship and a second signature before it can be submitted.
Can I change the wording?
All of it. Past submissions keep the exact wording that was signed, so editing today never rewrites history.
What happens if I cancel?
Your archive stays exportable. We never hold signed forms hostage.
Is this HIPAA software?
No, and it should not be. Lumela is for appearance businesses, whose consent forms are business records. We do not serve medspas or injectables.
